Police Make Arrest on Shots Fired Complaint in Downtown Entertainment District

Mobile Police arrested 24-year-old Tevin Gamble (DOB 8/2/91) in reference to a shots fired complaint in the downtown entertainment district over the weekend. Gamble is charged with Reckless Endangerment and Discharging a Firearm.

This incident happened on Sunday, July 17, 2016 around 3:18 a.m. in the 200 block of Dauphin Street. Police responded to an altercation between several males in front of the Downtown Mobile Alliance. As they moved in the direction of the disturbance, three shots were fired into the air. The subjects ran from the area and the crowd dispersed. There were no injuries reported and no victims.

Police located Gamble through another open investigation.
