REWARD FOR 2007 MURDER INVESTIGATION

The Mobile Police Department Homicide Unit has received a five thousand dollar reward donation from the Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting death of DeMarcus Bettis and the shooting of William Worthy.

The homicide of DeMarcus Bettis occurred on May 25, 2007, at approximately 10: 45 P.M. at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Melrose Street.

The victim DeMarcus Bettis was shot and killed, William Worthy was shot and survived his injuries.
