SAFETY CHECK POINTS ON ROADWAY

Safety check points will be set up on local roadways on January 09, 2009, by the Mobile Police Department to assure that motorists are complying with state and locals laws.

Checkpoints will be set up throughout the city beginning at 8:00 P.M until 4:00 A.M. Police will be checking seatbelts, Child restraints and other safety features. They also will be checking for driver sobriety and to assure that drivers are carrying registration, proof of insurance and drivers licenses, as required by law.
