Mobile police will conduct safety checkpoints at two locations Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 7 p.m. to midnight. The checkpoints will be in the RV Taylor and Village Green communities.
Checkpoints are conducted in an effort to promote public safety, and to ensure that drivers are complying with state and local traffic laws.
Citizens should be prepared to present their driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a current vehicle tag registration to police officers. Police will also check for use of seat belts and children that are not properly restrained in child safety seats.
