SUBJECT SOUGHT FOR VARIOUS SEX OFFENSES INVOLVING MINORS ATTEMPTS SUICIDE

Members of the Mobile Police Department Child Advocacy Center have been currently investigating suspect Donald Clark Brooks for various sex offenses involving minors. At this point, the investigation has revealed, three victims in these offenses. Brooks would lure minors by offering work at his residence, and is suspected in engaging in illegal sexual activities with the victims. Brooks is also suspected in providing alcohol to the victims during the commission of these offenses.
Investigators obtained warrants for Brooks' arrest on Friday, April 17, 2009. The warrants from this investigation include Sodomy First Degree, Two counts of Sodomy Second Degree, Three counts of Enticing a Minor, Sex Abuse first Degree, Two Counts of Sex Abuse Second Degree, and Two Counts of Furnishing Alcohol to a School Student.
On April 22, 2009 approximately 6:00 AM Mobile Police Department while attempting to apprehend Donald Clark Brooks, found the male with a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Brooks is currently at USAMC in critical condition from his wound.
