Two men were arrested in a drug sting in the parking lot of Advance Auto Parts on Theodore Dawes Road Monday night, Feb. 20.

Arthur Burney, 38, and 41-year-old Alj Hilton were both charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

The Mobile County Enforcement Street Narcotics Team (MCSENT) conducted the sting operation as part of a long-term and large-scale ongoing investigation into the trafficking of crystal methamphetamine into Mobile from out of state.

MCSENT officers seized half a kilo of crystal methamphetamine, estimated street value of $50,000, and a pistol carried by Burney. He was also charged with carrying a pistol without a permit.
