UPDATE: Mobile Police Department Make Manslaughter Arrest

On Saturday, April 12, 2014, at approximately 8:36 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Sumner Drive for a report of one stabbed. Arrested person, 23 year old Shamaya Wrice, was involved in a domestic dispute with the victim, her 23 year old boyfriend, Quentavioua Battiste, when she stabbed him with a knife causing his death.
