UPDATE: Mobile Police Investigate Fearn Court Homicide

On February 22, 2014 at approximately 1:45 a.m., Mobile Police responded to the 1200 block of Fearn Court for a report of a burglary in progress and one shot. Upon arrival, police found 26 year-old Anthony Carstarphen was shot and killed after he unlawfully forced entry into an occupied residence.

The male and female occupants of the home were questioned during the investigation and released. The weapon was recovered and the details were presented to the District Attorney's Office for review. No arrests were made as the case will be presented to the Grand Jury at a later date.
