UPDATE - Mobile Police Investigate Homicide on Emogene Street

On July 22, 2013, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Mobile Police responded to the 2500 block of Emogene Street for a report of one shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 24 year-old male subject suffering from a gunshot wound. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and the victim was pronounced dead on scene.

The victim has been identified as Brandon DeMon Jackson of Mobile.

Homicide detectives will continue the investigation. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Mobile Police at (251) 208-7211 .
