Update Mobile Police Investigating Traffic Fatality

On Thursday, March 24, 2016, at approximately 4:20 a.m. officers responded to the area of Moffett Road west of Foxfire Road for a Traffic Wreck with Injuries. Preliminary investigation revealed a tractor trailer was traveling eastbound on Moffett Road, west of Foxfire Road, in the outside lane. A Ford F-250 was traveling westbound, crossed all lanes of traffic, and struck the tractor trailer in a head on collision.

Mobile Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the driver of the Ford F-250, 36 year old Walter Castle, deceased on the scene. Officers are investigating the reason for the vehicle crossing through traffic.
